The role of a Front End Coordinator team member at FedEx is vital as it involves providing outstanding customer service at the front end of the stores. The primary tasks that you will be expected to execute include processing customer purchases with accuracy and speed, receiving and processing cash and card transactions, and maintaining an organized, clean, and tidy front end area. You will be solely responsible for resolving any customer inquiries or concerns satisfactorily, including providing assistance in finding products and giving information about store promotions. You will also engage with the other team members, follow the established procedures and policies, and contribute to ensuring the successful operation of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer a pleasant and professional greeting to all those who enter, conveying respect and attentiveness
- Execute precise and efficient checkout processes to guarantee customer satisfaction
- I am responsible for managing transactions conducted through both cash and card payments
- It is crucial to ensure that the front end is kept clean and well-arranged
- Provide support to individuals with questions and issues
- Encourage teamwork and cooperation among team members to ensure store operations run smoothly
- Abide by established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Follow through on any other tasks allotted
Qualifications:
- A diploma that confirms the satisfactory completion of educational requirements at the secondary level
- Candidates who have worked previously in cash handling or customer service roles are preferred
- Outstanding talent in providing top-notch quality customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Being equipped to work quickly and effectively amid a rapid-paced work environment
- Attention to detail
- Capacity to lift and shift materials or goods weighing up to 50 pounds
- Capacity to work at any time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
